The Sierra de Os Ancares is one of the most surprising places in Galicia for its beauty. It is located in the east of the province of Lugo, on the border with the neighboring communities of Castilla y León and the Principality of Asturias.

Throughout the more than 50,000 hectares, an infinite network of trails crosses deep valleys and ascends to peaks of 2,000 meters high. In winter, this area remains covered by snow. With the arrival of spring, meltwater flows from the peaks to the lower areas, giving life to numerous streams and small waterfalls. Until the end of summer, the mountain reaches its full splendor. In autumn, the vegetation takes on reddish tones.
